Victoria Agyin

Victoria Agyin is a two-time Ivy League and three-time Georgia state champion who competed at the University of Pennsylvania and San Jose State. A torn meniscus ended her final college season in 2024 — and started the project she's known for now: documenting her attempt to dunk a basketball at 5'6".

Victoria grew up moving between Ghana, the UK, and the US before settling in Georgia. She found basketball first, then track and field, becoming the #1-ranked triple jumper in the state at McEachern High School in Powder Springs — a three-time Georgia state basketball champion (2015–2017) and two-time state triple jump champion (2017, 2018). That earned her a Division 1 scholarship to the University of Pennsylvania, where she won Ivy League team championships in the jumps, before competing as a graduate student at San Jose State University.

A torn meniscus ended her final collegiate season in 2024. While recovering, she started publicly documenting an attempt to dunk a regulation basketball at 5'6" — a vertical leap north of 50 inches by her own account — and has since gained over a million views and tens of thousands of followers tracking the climb from barely grazing the rim to touching 10 feet 6 inches.

She interned on Adobe Express's product management team in the summer of 2024, and has since been recruited by USA Rugby to train toward a roster spot for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Her SJSU athletics bio also lists her as related to rapper Remy Ma.
